Hello S,
All the older portal sites are boarded up now. The paths formerly beyond their forgotten entrances are overgrown, their concrete cracking….
As I'm writing this, it's been almost a year since the last portal was opened. Which is because there's not many places to do it, for one, and two, almost all of the Opening Devices broke after the riots.
Everyone is forgetting who they are and Wave's Sameness is on the brink of extinction-- just like what happened to our subtly way back when.
Anyway, there's a few of us who still believe. We repainted your tag on the corner; it reminds us that these little mass-produced boxes were once sacred holders of spirit.
I'm writing because our goal is to reopen the older portal sites, and also, to create new ones. First we need a way to fix all the older Opening Devices. I know, it would be a lot easier with a power source, but I'm afraid the riots destroyed those as well. Anyway, please find some of our preliminary experiments attached. I look forward to hearing back.
