Through surveying and drawing, Care Agency workers gain a careful understanding of the materials that are actually on site as a way of taking seriously embodied knowledge that lies not only within the physical materials but also in the people who produce and take care of them. Surveyed structures and materials include virgin mary shrines, and other common typologies in the urban fabric like pedestrian bridges, commercial buildings and billboards.
